Global Goodwill Ambassador – Congratulations

Global Goodwill Ambassador – Congratulations Hans-Jürgen John !!!

Hans helped me in many ways the last years. His literature platform Johntext – this website is part of it like those of other authors – praises my life and work with free author services. Thank you so much for continued support!!!

Partly I republish his article about the honor Global Goodwill Ambassador he received by Richard DiPilla – Founder of Global Goodwill Ambassadors.

Who are Global Goodwill Ambassadors (GGA)? Here the links to the Newsletter Hans-Jürgen John published about them:

What is new in my life? Remember the marriage of daughter Panvi? Sure.

Global Goodwill Ambassador

Thank you so much

Hans-Jürgen John woke up in a dream. Global Goodwill Ambassador.

So many fans and kind people wishing him the very best (for some of the following links you need to be logged in LinkedIn).
It is an honor for Hans-Jürgen to receive the title Global Goodwill Ambassador and use it to make this world a little better.

If you want your life story to be remembered with fondness, full of positive aspects and good words, then begin by realizing that you are the author — Joygopal Podder

Hans-Jürgen is grateful and thanks Richard DiPilla and the Board. For choosing him, for introducing him here on LinkedIn.

I have a simple attitude: I try to help.

We all have a choice. Every day we hear bad news from all over the world. It can make us desperate. It can shock us.

There is a simple truth and it is not in the headline news. It is true indeed: This world is full of people who are kind. You see some of them when you open your eyes. Some need encouragement. They are real – in every town, village, every street, in every family. These people are near us despite the headline news. And these people reinvent our world in a million ways every day. I am sure that you are one of them. Thank you.
—   Hans-Jürgen John

The endless competition in us: evil or good. In an interview for Eshan’s Special Interview Series I was asked: What inspired you to write your first book?
Evil fascinates me. Evil has cockroach endurance. Evil is an essential part of life and I like my books to reflect life — Joygopal Podder.

Link my quote:

Hans-Jürgen is proud to support some friends. E.g. former member of the Swiss Parliament Roland Wiederkehr – recently honored Global Goodwill Ambassador, too.

Roland Wiederkehr

He founded Green Cross (together with Mikhail. S. Gorbachev) to overcome the residues of the cold war. And with his organization CareCross (website soon in English) he reduces traffic accidents worldwide and helps victims – because 1,3 mio. fatalities annually on the worlds roads and 500 dead children every day on their way to school (WHO) are one of the biggest scandals. Roland Wiederkehr got the President’s award of the European Traffic Police Network for the thousands of lives he already saved. It is an honor for him to be Global Goodwill Ambassador. He needs support for his organization CareCross. His aim is to help reduce road accidents in development countries and support victims.

Road Safety in India

I survived five decades of THIS ? Road Safety in India – Joygopal Podder

Roland Wiederkehr is a wonderful person and role model. Some of us go to cinema or watch films at home in order to see heroes. This one is real.

To watch and understand the following video you need not to know any spoken language:

Claude Ribaux / Zürich / Switzerland is a mastermind of hypnotic therapy. He coaches persons, companies, NGOs ….

His dedication is to help thousands of refugees to cope with the traumas of war, eviction, and violence. Soon his CASPEA Foundation in Switzerland will post the new campaign against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Returning currently from a Hypnosis Convention in the United States he presented workshops at the 5th International Hypnosis Convention in Zürich (October 27th – 29th, 2017) about how to improve learning abilities by active-alert hypnosis.

It is one of Hans-Jürgens biggest joys in life that he can contribute to such initiatives. And he is glad that he is not alone. He has a circle of true friends around him who, in turn, support him.

You can protect yourself with a fence, or you can protect yourself with friends – Joygopal Podder

Matthias Wiemeyer and Petra Huber helped him in many ways and continue to be a source of advice and encouragement. He joined their workshop online-journalist in 2015. Writing for websites. Online-marketing. How to start a social media campaign. Great experience and output!

For all kinds of workshop concerning writing and marketing check out Schreibszene

Never forget from where you started:
When Hans-Jürgen John had no job he got the chance to join

Half a year he learned a lot there. How to write. How to make video interviews. How connect to other professionals worldwide.

Special thanks to Robert Hansen, Rita Gabathuler-Dux, Carmen Püntener, Paola Pitton, Daniela Palumbo, Simone Gloor, Anja Piffaretti, Doris Urfer … and many more.

Jörg Mathys from Kölliken is his former employer and a close friend. He is a modest farmer and hard worker. And a role model for Hans-Jürgen and many others. Be trusting. Be kind. Even to the grumpy, the disappointed, the misguided. Give them a chance and one day they will change their mind and be kind and supporting, too.

The employer of Hans-Jürgen, Migros Basel is part of the big retailer Migros – in Switzerland. He got the chance to work for the Marketing Services Department. The world of business is hard. Competition, hire and fire are words which reign this world.

Migros is different and makes a difference. It employs people who cannot find another job because they have disabilities or because they are older than 50 years. The company gives 1 percent of its income back to society. It supports film, art and social activities. I a world which experiences tax income decreases and governments have to save money this company takes over moral responsibility. .. Great role model for business worldwide!
Migros was founded by Gottlieb Duttweiler. Gottlieb and his wife Adele Duttweiler transferred ownership of Migros to their customers, as a cooperative. Today Migros is the biggest employer in Switzerland.

Why do I love 2016 so much?

(1) Release of my novel ‘Cancer’
(2) Release of my novel ‘The Anniversary Killer’
(3) Featuring in the 2016 edition of the Limca Book of Records as The Fastest Published Crime Fiction Author of India (for 5th year in a row)
(4) Joining Public Health Foundation of India
(5) Being featured in all Delhi/NCR editions of The Hindustan Times — Joygopal Podder

Richard DiPilla and his Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation is like a rock, an island in this world.

Richard DiPilla

It has the potential to change dark to light, war to peace, hungry to satisfied and hate to love. It already started to change the world. First one person, one idea. And now it covers the world, like a carpet of green grass after a fire, like a carpet of love and goodwill.

Please follow and support Richard DiPilla:

Hans-Jürgen commented to a LinkedIn-Post of Vincent Coyle who founded Reconciliation Day:

Vincent Coyle

“Hate and destruction can be aims of humans. These humans cannot follow opposing aims at the same time. Replace old aims by new: love and education = reconciliation”.

The trick is to let words change the world.

Hans-Jürgen still feels like he woke up in a dream come true and have to realign myself first. He is  overwhelmed and thanked all for their kind words.

All those who supported him in the past but are not mentioned here: Thank you so much!!!

Here his article in german reposted. The original – in english and german – is on his website Johntext Switzerland. It is shared over 200 times on LinkedIn.

Thank you so much for supporting the guy who supported me all the years!

Global Goodwill Ambassador

Danke vielmals!

Danke vielmals. Ich fühle mich sehr geehrt.

Ich erwachte in einen Traum. Global Goodwill Ambassador.

Viele Menschen haben mir das Beste gewünscht.

Vielen Dank an Richard DiPilla and die Direktion.

Vielen herzlichen Dank an Richard DiPilla dafür.

Internationalen Hypnosekongress in Zürich (27. – 29.

Vergiss niemals wer dir half:

Herzlichen Dank an Robert Hansen, Rita Gabathuler-Dux, Carmen Püntener, Paola Pitton, Daniela Palumbo, Simone Gloor, Anja Piffaretti, Doris Urfer … und viele andere.

Mother’s Day Tribute ? My writing journey began at age seven in London. My mother loved taking me to public libraries and immersing me in story books. So my love for the written word was born very early in life. She soon encouraged me to pen tiny stories in note books, which she would keep casually lying around on the living room coffee table, for visitors to read. So my love for an audience was also born very early on in life 🙂
The family came to India when I was eight and settled down in Delhi. My mother got me a subscription to Children’s World magazine. It took me about four years. But I finally got a short story published in CW at age 12. The feeling of seeing your name in print, below a story written by you, at that tender age, in a magazine with a wide circulation, is indescribable.
My mother guided and influenced my life and career in a non-intrusive and quiet manner, but with a firm hand when needed, and with great love, despite many health issues and hardships (she even bought me a cycle I greatly desired, with savings from vegetable shopping :). I am lucky and blessed I was able to serve my mother, Pushpa Lata Podder, and look after her throughout my adulthood and till her last breath.

GOD : “As you grow old, you must learn to accept and live with a variety of age-related diseases. But I like you, Joygopal, so I’ll give you a choice. Which would you prefer as the lesser evil: Parkinson’s Disease (shaking hands) or Alzheimer’s (loss of memory)?”
JOYGOPAL : “I’d rather spill half the glass of whiskey than forget where the bottles are kept!”

Always speak well of your enemies. After all, you made them …

Common Man vs. Digital India

On Dec. 16, wife Priti, after her Dialysis procedure, stood in the queue of the hospital ATM and withdrew Rs. 2,000/-. But she got 2 sms’s mentioning 2 withdrawals of this same amount, and our account was debited Rs. 4,000/-. Next day, on our request, our bank sent a complaint to the bank running that ATM, who took 10 days to reject our claim, even though ATMs are programmed by law (and PM/FM diktat) to hand out only maximum Rs.2,000/- per card per day.
Yesterday I wrote a strong mail (titled: Small amount/big problem) to the CMDs of both banks, with copy to PM’s office and also to a direct mail address of the PM I was able to locate on the internet. I attached photos of bank statement and sms’s showing double deduction.
Both banks responded to me, and today the excess deduction has been credited back to my account.

A fan has sent me this : “I have devoted these lines to you, dear sir : ‘You ask me why I spend my life writing? Do I find entertainment? Is it worthwhile? Above all, does it pay? If not, then, is there a special reason?…. I write only because, to repeat the famous quote, there is a voice within me that will not be still.’ ”

Your parents will never treat you like a responsible adult. Your parents will always be anxious about you, always protective, always worried about your choices. They have seen you at your most vulnerable; they have picked you up when you’ve fallen – so many times that you’ve lost count, and so have they. Your parents care about you too much to treat you like an adult; live with it 🙂

Believe the newspapers. Delhi is not safe for girls – or their dads. And never was. Flashback to 2008, end February. My wife was in Apollo, Delhi, ICU with blood poisoning. She was not responding to any treatment. My daughters and I left the hospital with heavy hearts at 11.30 pm or so to return home (in Gurgaon) – my sister and brother-in-law were camping in the hospital for the night and my aged mother was alone in our house. Our Scorpio met with a sudden tire puncture on the flyover in front of Panchscheel Club and it took me a half-minute to realise this, cruise to a halt and park to a side, at the bottom of the flyover. As we stepped out and inspected the flat tire…..several young men started gathering around us, at a distance and with no attempt to come to our help. They just stood and stared. Their numbers grew to about seven or eight – perhaps more. My two daughters were in their teens and it was clear to me that neither I nor my Scorpio were the centre of attraction for these rough looking young men. I am no SRK or Salman Khan or Akshay Kumar and my heart sank to my boots at the thought of a possible confrontation. Then I spotted a taxi stand in the distance and quickly walked over to it with my daughters close behind me. A few men were asleep on charpais and under blankets. Risking all (was I stepping from the frying pan into the fire?) I shook one of the slumbering men awake. He turned out to be a sardarji who took some time to wake up – but when he did, he quickly understood the complete situation and took charge. He offered to change the tire and got to work. Slowly the young men standing nearby disappeared, one by one. Fifteen minutes or so later, my Scorpio was in driving condition again and we finally felt safe. Our saviour refused to take money from me, but I insisted. I don’t remember how much I paid him – perhaps Rs. 100/- – but no amount of money or gratitude can be enough to compensate for the unimaginable terror this good samaritan perhaps saved us from with his timely action and by his very presence by our side. God was looking over us that night 🙂
